ABSOLUT DUPLEX is a 1998 ad on page 142 of the 4/99 issue of Premiere, the French magazine. The ad is actually 2 half-page ads, one on top of the other. Each half shows the bottom part of an Absolut Vodka bottle placed on a table and spotlighted against a black background. Below each logo is printed: ABSOLUT VODKA EST VENDUE AU BAR-RESTAURANT CLUB DUPLEX, 2 BIS AVENUE FOCH, PARIS 16EME.
The word "duplex" is most commonly found referring to either a duplex apartment (with rooms on 2 connected floors) or a duplex house (with apartments on each of 2 floors). Hence, the appearance of the ad. |
